Querinalo is the modern name for the disease that struck magic users across the world, about 110 years before the current day of this series. It is also known as The Plague (Gildcrest), The Fire Plague (Royal Beasts), The Burning Times (New Kelvin), Divine Retribution (Liglim), The Sorcerer’s Bane (The Mires), and Burning Down The Wick. This last is a literal translation of the name that has become common parlance among the Nexus Islands.
